All planes must have a fuselage 1/4" thick min. have 5" high and 1" high in front of the vertical stab, two wheels min. 6" apart,

3. Magic Event

  Timed Flight

1 -Plane must be built from Modeltech ARF box. (no scratch built clones) Either steerable or fixed Tailwheel or Tailskid are OK. Repairs to covering can be made with any type covering but no mods to the dimensions or lightening of the airframe can be made.

2- Since the wire landing gear provided is brittle and prone to breakage a replacement landing gear may be used - any type material as long as it has 2 wheels (any size) and is equal to or greater than the original wheel spread and height. The mount may be modified to accommodate the landing gear.

3- Plane Radio gear must have standard size servos (min.size 1.5x.75.x1.25") on aileron, elevator & rudder with no mini, micro or digital servos allowed (micro OK on throttle). No oz/in limits. Any size/volt/type battery is allowed. Any size receiver and any type pushrods/cables may be used.    

5- Any 40 or 46 size engine may be used. Mute baffle is not required inside the muffler. Any size/type fuel tank may be used.

 

4. Battle Of Champions for all Past Champions in Masters & Sportsman.

Both classes

 

 

Entry Fee.

$30.00 for 1st. class & $20.00 for 2nd. class

Magic class will be $5.00

NCFFA Members will receive a $5.00 Discount

Entry fee will include 1 meal ticket.

Must be a current AMA Member in good Standing.

 

Trophy's & Prizes in all classes.

Top 5 in both classes & top 3 in Magic class.

Battle of Champions will be top 3.

 

Registration will be on Friday evening and will end by 8am. on Saturday morning.
